Since 2006 is Full Professor in Computer Science at the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano, Faculty of Computer Science, and Vice-Rector for Studies of UniBZ since 2012. Her recent research work is alternating between topics in technology enhanced learning for university and schools, with computer science education topics. Prior to working at UniBZ, she worked at the Department of Computer Science of the University of Genova, where she graduated in Mathematics in 1977
