Full Professor of Media Education at the Department of Humanities, University of Foggia, Italy, his scientific work is primarily concerned with applied research in the area of digital media and education. Rector’s delegate for academic affairs he is also responsible for accreditation, quality assurance andteacher’s training.

Founder and director of the laboratory for “Educational Research and Interaction Design” at the Department of Humanities of the University of Foggia, professor Limone coordinates a team creative educationalists that works on competitive research projects and services related to digital learning environments. 

Expert in assessment and evaluation of e-learning courses he is serving as external evaluator for ANVUR, the national agency for the accreditation of the Italian university system and he is directly involved in several online universities as president of the quality assurance board.

Founding member of SIREM (Italian Society for Research on Media Education) for which he is serving as vice-president. Founding member and scientific coordinator of Eduopen Network.
